S/Y ARCHANGEL
Hylas 70
From the drawing table of renowned yacht designer German Frers, come
the elegant lines and finely finished interior of this modern
classic launched in 2011. On deck, the center cockpit, covered with
a full bimini, offers the comfort of a much larger yacht with custom
seat and back cushions and a drop leaf table which accommodates
eight. The separate steering cockpit has twin helms.
Below decks ARCHANGEL’s eighteen foot beam and eight foot headroom
create an open salon with chamois colored upholstery. Six guests and
their gear are comfortably accommodated in three cabins. The
spacious forward (queen) and aft (king) are en suite. The third
guest cabin (double) is located forward on the port side. It has its
own bath with a toilet and washbasin on the starboard side and
separate access to the shower shared with the forward queen cabin.
En suite crew quarters are aft of the salon.
Captain Jim Tingley, now in his early fifties, came to the yachting
industry following a 25 year career in upper level management
positions for several Fortune 500 companies around the US. He holds
a USCG Master 100 Ton License and has four years experience doing
term charters on sailboats from 53 to 70 feet in length in New
England and the Caribbean.
